Our mission is to present the authentic writings of the original Bible as preserved by the people of Ethiopia and copied by Greek translators in about 300 A.D., with the original authorship traced to Hebrew compositions written between approximately 100 and 180 A.D. These scriptures have now been translated from Hebrew into English so you may access the fully restored and complete 88 books of the original scripture for your fuller knowledge and spiritual clarity.

Across many cultures in Europe, the original text was altered in numerous ways, making it essential to restore and provide the true text from the original Ethiopian Bible. Such alterations included deletion of material, omission of whole books, and shifts in doctrinal emphasis. Sadly, these changes contributed to widespread confusion and have influenced controlling ideas, social attitudes, and institutional practices in profound and often harmful ways.

A striking example of this need for restoration is the widely circulated King James Version’s relationship to the Ethiopian Original Bible. The KJV, first published in 1611, omitted 22 books and introduced thousands of modifications to the remaining 66 books. Over centuries these changes were employed, at times, to justify and facilitate colonial enterprises and the transatlantic slave trade—mechanisms that exerted mental, cultural, and political control over African peoples through a corrupted presentation of sacred text.

Our purpose is straightforward: to offer an accurate English translation of the original Hebrew scriptures, unaltered and presented in their complete form, so you can discern the differences and appreciate the fullness of the original Ethiopian Bible.

This presentation delivers the English translation of the Original Ethiopian Bible in its entirety—the full 88 books, presented uncut and complete, and made available in “text to audio” formats for your study and listening enjoyment.
